Millers Alpine Blue Antifreeze is the perfect product for classic cars. In our workshop we use it on all classics up to approximately 1990, when 'red' antifreeze became the standard. It is a high quality, corrosion inhibited blue monoethylene glycol antifreeze containing no nitrites, amines or phosphates (NAP free).

Dilute with distilled water to the required level of antifreeze protection.

Benefits:

Alpine Antifreeze BT exceeds the performance requirements of BS6580 (2010) for corrosion inhibiting engine coolant concentrate (antifreeze)
Excellent corrosion protection for engine components including steel, cast iron, copper, brass, aluminium and solder
2 years full anti-corrosion inhibitor protection in use
Long shelf life under normal ambient temperatures - typically 5 years
Built in alkalinity reserve ensures corrosion protection is provided over long periods of use
Product suited to use with both 'hard' and 'soft' water
Superior anti-foam characteristics to the standard requirements
Nitrite free formulation

Regularly flushing and replacing antifreeze is one of the most important and often overlooked service requirements. Changing your antifreeze every two years keeps your cooling system clean, clear of scale and dramatically reduces corrosion damage to your engine.

Classic antifreeze (usually blue or green) should be changed every  two years. This keeps the system clean and reduces rust and contaminates. More modern formulas (usually yellow or orange) should be changed  every three years.
